June 17, 2014 – Everyone wants a pair of custom white L.LBean boots like US Nordic star Kikkan Randall’s! After L.LBean made a pair for Randall, the rest of the US Women’s team wanted a pair. And then Swedish racer Charlotte Kalla wanted a pair after she and Randall were walking to the venue in Sochi. Word got around and Finland’s Aino-Kaisa Saarinen REALLY wanted a pair. It seems the Freeport, Maine-based clothing and outdoor recreation equipment brand that recently sponsored Randall had sparked an unexpected hot trend.

When all of the white boot wearers met up at their final race of the season, they all posed together for an iconic photo, which L.L.Bean made into a banner. It was recently presented at the company’s factory, while design and testing partner Randall was on site for a tour and a visit during which she met with the design team and offered valuable feedback and ideas.

While Randall was on site in Freeport, she also hosted two Fast and Female Power Hour events and was on hand for photos and autographs. Check out the story and photos here.
