August 24, 2010 (Falls Creek, Australia) – As Fleetwood Mac says, sometimes you’ve gotta go your own way, which is just what the USA’s Garrott Kuzzy is doing in Australia right now. Having been invited by Aussi head coach Finn Marsland, the Vancouver Olympian arrived in Falls Creek, Australia on Wednesday for a training camp and to compete in a set of races down under. Kuzzy wasted no time proving that he is indeed there to race, throwing down a 5th in the 10km classic and an impressive 2nd after a tight battle with Aussi Ben Sims in the 15km freestyle. Next up for Kuzzy is the 42km Kangaroo Hoppet Worldloppet Ski Marathon, on August 28th.
