October 30, 2005 – Cross Country Canada, in cooperation with Cross Country Alberta, will present an interactive National TD (Level 4) Update seminar in the context of the Canmore World Cup events.

This will be a unique opportunity for senior experienced TD’s to walk through World Cup events and upgrade their knowledge through interactive sessions with the experts involved in this event.

· Observer status at major points of action during the World Cup races
· Opportunity to learn from the FIS World Cup TD and assistant TD
· Informal discussions with senior FIS officials
· On-site issues with the various race Chiefs
· Insights from the Sovereign Lake World Cup Chief of Competition and FIS TD team
· Practical observation assignments leading to post-race debriefing discussions
· Informal opportunity for information sharing and knowledge gathering
· Short discussion on Canadian officials’ level 1 and 2 curriculum
