October 28, 2014 – (Craftsbury Common, Vermont) – Masters skiers: are you looking for a tune-up this season before the snow really flies? Is there something about your technique or training that you think may be holding you back? Or do you just want to get out and enjoy a beautiful weekend of skiing in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom?

In response to the popularity of last season’s Masters’ camp, the Craftsbury Outdoor Center will be hosting two weekends of Masters’ camps in early December: December 4-7th and the 11-14th. The first weekend is designed for novice skiers or those who haven’t raced before, while the second weekend will gear towards competitive skiers who want to improve their racing.

Campers can expect a full schedule of skiing, yoga, video review, presentations, and more during their 3 (or 4, if they arrive early on Thursday) on-snow days. While the coaching staff is still being finalized, it will include NENSA’s Janice Sibilia, Gunstock coach (and 3x Olympic gold medalist) Nina Gavrylyuk, Craftsbury GRP coach Pepa Miloucheva, GRP athletes, Craftsbury coaches and others. The skiing curriculum will incorporate technique drills, longer base-building sessions, and plenty of video review to reinforce technique points. It won’t be all work though; skiers will also have the chance to relax and socialize with their fellow campers, enjoy delicious meals in the Center’s Vermont Fresh Network dining hall, demo new gear, and even try out biathlon.
