Masters World Cup 2014 Pillerseetal Day 3 Classic 5/10km, Free 5/10km Results – Eight North Americans Win Medals

January 27, 2014 (PillerseeTal, Austria) – Here are the results from Day 3 at the 2014 Masters World Cup taking place in PillerseeTal, Austria, where lots of North American skiers were on the podium again.

In the women’s races, Canada’s Pat Pearce won gold in the Master 7 classic race, while USA’s Magdalena Bowen skied to silver in the Master 6 event. Andre Gauvin (CAN) picked up a bronze medal in the Master 6 men’s classic race and countryman Jean-Yves Babin (CAN) snatched third in the Master 10 event. Day 3 Classic results here.

In the skate events, USA’s Trina Hosmer sped to gold in the Master 10 women’s event. Canada’s Nancy Burden took silver in the Master 5 women’s and Carolyn Tierlan (USA) finished second in the Master 7 women’s contests. USA’s Murray Banks scored silver in the Master 8 men’s category.
