More Terrain to Open at Stevens Pass Winter Resort

January 14, 2004 – With 10 inches of new snow in the
last 24 hours and nearly four feet of snow in the base area, Stevens Pass
announced today that it will open additional chairlifts on Friday, Jan. 14,for the 2004-2005 skiing and riding season.

Beginning tomorrow, the Big Chief chairlift will be operating on the
standard schedule and on Saturday, Jan. 15, the Jupiter chairlift will
begin servicing the back side  of Stevens Pass. Stevens Pass  Southern
Cross and Double Diamond lifts will remain closed until further notice.

Stevens Pass – Top Flight Terrain Park, featuring seven new jumps and
rails, will also be open this weekend to skiers and boarders anxiously
awaiting an adrenaline rush. The park boasts new 25 and 35 ft. booters as
well as many other thrill seeking challenges.

Tube City, the Stevens Pass groomed tubing hill, will have one lane open
to sliders from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Fridays through Mondays beginning
tomorrow.

With these openings, Stevens Pass is now charging regular prices for lift
tickets.

-Adult (13-61) $45 + tax
-Youth (7-12) $28 + tax
-Senior (62-69) $31 + tax
-Children 6 & under $5 + tax
-Senior (70+) $8 + tax

Stevens Pass will open remaining lifts and terrain as conditions permit.

Cascadian Kitchen, Bull’s Tooth Pub & Eatery, Iron Goat Pizza Station,
T-Bar Market, The Edge, Rossignol Tech Center, and Stevens Pass Ski &
Snowboard School.
