July 15, 2011 (Coon Valley, WI) – Mt. Borah Custom has signed an agreement with the Maine Winter Sports Center as their exclusive training and racing apparel provider through 2014. Through the recently created agreement Mt Borah will support the MWSC Elite Teams with Men’s and Women’s Cycling, Running, and Nordic apparel.

Well known for producing World Class athletes in both XC and Biathlon the MWCS athletes act as inspirational models for healthy lifelong sport and exercise for the youth of Maine. Since 1999 the Maine Winter Sports Center staff and volunteers have worked around the state to create a sustainable model for rural communities in Maine. “Through its extensive community and racing involvements the MWSC seeks to partner with companies and provide mutual benefits to the greater ski community including helping skiers identify valuable ski products and services,” said Will Sweetser, MWSC Competitive Programs Director. “We rely on Mt. Borah for outstanding customer service and excellent craftsmanship. And, we’re proud to wear gear that’s made here in the U.S.A.”

Since starting the company in 1996 Mt Borah’s owner Chris Jackson has built a reputation of progressive excellence which has often been foster by working with groups such as the MWSC coaches and athletes. “We are extremely excited and honored to play a role in one of the countries premier Nordic programs”, said Chris Jackson, Mt. Borah’s owner. “This is a great opportunity for Mt Borah to cooperate with an outstanding program; to be able to support and learn from each other is extremely valuable”.
