May 16, 2012 – While in Park City for the annual USSA Congress, Janice Sibilia, New England Nordic Ski Association Competitive Programs Director, was named chair of the USSA Nordic Coaches Committee.  As committee chair, Sibilia will serve as a liaison between the coaching community and the USSA for a two year term.

Bringing community generated proposals to the USSA conversation will be central to her role and Sibilia says she is excited to work closely with the nordic community in striving to achieve goals for competitive success and coach development.

Sibilia’s nomination recognizes NENSA’s respected place in the national nordic community and her acceptance of the assignment demonstrates our organization’s dedication to that community.  Sibilia takes over for Joey Caterinichio of Alaska.
