New USSA 2010-11 Black Racing Kits

by skitrax.com
October 30, 2010 – Both the US XC Ski and Nordic Combined teams will be racing in a new stylish black racing kit this season replacing their red uniforms. According to the USSA Facebook page the team is “Tired of competing with the Norwegians in red, especially with the 2011 World Champs in Oslo.”

“For sure we wanted to go for a unique look this year,” commented USSA Nordic Director John Farra. “The Team saw the black suits in the catalog and liked the idea right away.  Our outer wear has been black for the past few seasons, and the athletes like them.”

The decision was unanimous to go with black Bjorn Daehlie uniforms for 2010-2011 continuing their relationship with Bj SPORT AS, the clothing company located just outside Oslo founded by Norwegian xc ski star, Bjoern Daehlie.

“This will be our 4th season with Bjorn Daehlie, and we have been thrilled with the quality of the products and excellent attention we receive from them,” added Farra. “They are building their brand and we are building our programs, and both sides have been pleased with the partnership.” – check out the USSA Facebook page here.
