December 2, 2003 – The Gunstock Nordic Ski Association (GNA) is proud to welcome four-time Russian Olympian, Nina Gavriljuk as their Nordic ski coach. An internationally-ranked skier from 1988 to the present, Gavriljuk has won three Olympic gold medals, and six World Championship medals.

Joining Gavriljuk is Nordic Combined Coach, Geoff Howe, in leading the strong GNA program. Howe competed on the World Cup circuit from 1999-2002, and was the Nordic Combined Coach for the New York Ski Education Foundation in Lake Placid,  NY.

A Welcome Clinic will be held, Sunday, December 7th, from 1pm to 4pm. Skiers and Jumpers are invited to a free afternoon of fun on the snow with Nina and Geoff at Gunstock Ski Area, Rte. 11A, Gilford, NH. Follow the signs to the base of the ski jumps.  The program includes: Games on skis (bring your old equipment), Technique demonstrations, Basic waxing demonstrations, Jumping demonstrations on the 10 and 20 Meter jumps.
