February 23, 2008 (Mals, Italy) – Canada’s Alex Harvey finished 4th on Saturday in the Junior Men’s A Final in the 1.3km freestyle sprint won by Sweden’s Calle Halfvarsson with team mate Jesper Modin in second and Russia’s Raul Shakirzianov in 3rd. Kevin was the top US finisher in 22nd.

In the women’s 1.3 freestyle sprint Laure Barthelemy (Fra) was the winner with her team mate Aurelie Dabudyk in second and Germany’s Lucia Anger in 3rd. Ida Sargent was the top US skier in 12th while Marlis Kromm was the top Canadian in 20th.
