October 25, 2005 – Online registration for the TD Banknorth Craftsbury Marathon opens November 1, 2005 for the January 28, 2006 event. The Marathon, presented by the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, is the largest cross-country participation ski event in the Eastern USA and usually fills in less than two months. The course, with stunning vistas of the Green Mountains along the way, may be skied as a tour or race, starting in Greensboro at the Highland Lodge and finishing on Craftsbury Common.
