May 18, 2010 (Anna Maria Island, Florida) – On April 17th on Anna Maria Island, Florida, at Holmes Beach, Peter Graves (the iconic sports announcer) and Cami Thompson (Dartmouth’s Womens Cross Country Ski Coach) were married in a beach ceremony with a group of very close ski friends, under a lightly clouded sky and typical Florida temperatures for this time of the year.

Joined by their children, Willie and Katie from Peter’s side and young Sophie, Cami’s daughter, and such luminaries from the ski world as, USSA’s Tom Kelly and wife along with Fischer’s Peter Ashley and wife, the close to nature ceremony was also joined by another 25 family members and friends.

Tom Kelly donned his apron and chef’s hat to perform his usual cooking mastery behind the BBQ grill, with the aid of his able sous-chef, Robin Outwater. They brought such delights as shrimp, scallops, “only” Kelly’s burgers, the local delicacy grouper fillets, and other libations to the party.

The newlyweds returned to the Hanover area a few days later to take up residence in their recently bought log cabin in East Thetford, VT.
