March 30, 2010 (Warsaw, POL) – The blame game continues in the case of Kornelia Marek, the Polish cross-country skier who was caught doping after the 2010 Olympic relay – both her A and B samples tested positive for EPO. She insists that it was injected by her physiotherapist, Vitaliy Trypoliski, who apparently told her the shots were vitamins. Trypoliski, however, testified on Monday before the Polish Skiing Union disciplinary committee saying he did not give Marek any illegal substances, suggesting instead that the skier could have easily injected EPO herself.
