September 29, 2011 (Quebec City) – Quebec City’s Mayor, Regis Labeaume, has announced that the city will not make a bid for hosting the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, reports cbc.ca. The Mayor cited that the city does not currently meet all of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) criteria, but Quebec will consider a future bid.
