June 01, 2015 – RBC is seeking a number of Olympic and Paralympic athletes and hopefuls to act as community ambassadors in a national outreach program.  The RBC Olympians Program is a key component of RBC’s support of the Olympic movement in Canada.

The succesful candidates will support the delivery of an outreach program targeted at Canada’s youth and promoting the value of sport, exercise and the Olympic values.  The athletes will also engage RBC employees, clients and community partners with messages of commitment, excellence, teamwork and leadership.  Additionally, the athletes will support RBC’s long-time partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee and work to build enthusiasm around the Olympic movement in Canada.  This may include, without limitation, speaking engagements, appearances at RBC sponsored events, providing testimonials, journal entries, blog entries and sharing stories about their experiences in sport.

The positions will be spread across Canada in urban centres such as Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax, with flexibility to offer positions in other areas.  We are offering part-time contract positions of 24 months beginning in October 2015 and are looking for both summer and winter athletes.
