Rossignol Celebrates 100th Year Birthday with \”Project C\” Event

March 22, 2007 – The spring sun may be out, but there is still plenty of snow season left–and with a load of the white stuff hammering the Wasatch region in late February that set Utah up for a great spring, Rossignol is ready to uncork the champagne (and plenty of beer!) for a week long on-snow celebration to commemorate their 100th year (!!) in the snow sports business.

With Rossignol’s “Project C” (as in, C: the Roman numeral for 100), April 3rd-7th is stacked up with parties and live music including the funk/hip hop band Blackaliscious, the all-women’s AC/DC cover band Hell’s Belles, and the indescribably entertaining and party-driven Super Sonic Soul Pimps.

“We’ve been mapping it out all winter, and can’t wait to finally see the action unfoldÅ this is the first of what we hope to see become an annual Rossignol event here in Park City,” cited Susie English, Rossignol’s Marketing Coordinator and the key Project C organizer. “It’s great to be able to thank our hard-working dealers and their staffs by having a spring bash right here in Rossignol’s new back yard!”

The core of the celebration will of course be on-snow time at The Canyons Resort, with a full demo fleet of next year’s snowboard and ski equipment available to Rossignol’s invitees coming in from around the world. Nightly après ski parties, pub crawls and great live music will keep everyone smiley and rocking through the night after the boots come off.

While the focus of Project C will be a “thank you” to their dealers, Rossignol is enthusiastic about getting the public to join in on the fun. Bargain-rate lift/meal/beer/concert packages are being offered to area locals for just $99 for the entire week’s 100th Anniversary festivities, encouraging everyone to come help Rossignol celebrate their big birthday!
