Rottefella Introduces NNN-BC Magnum

provided by Rottefella

December 18, 2003 – Rottefella, the industry leader in cross country and telemark bindings, introduces the NNN-BC Magnum, which takes to a new level the performance of their best-selling NNN BC binding for backcountry touring and for skiers seeking increased security for in-track/out-of-track skiing.

With a  wide-wing profile derived from its medal-winning cross country racing bindings, Rottefella's NNN BC Magnum features an extra-wide – 67mm – contoured steering plate designed to improve the performance of the new generation of shorter, wider touring skis by increasing the contact area between boot sole, binding plate and ski to improve stability and deliver more turning power to ski edges.

The Magnum's sleek design also features a large manual-closing lever sculpted with  anatomical, glove-friendly finger recesses in the binding housing for easy latching.

The technology behind the NNN BC Magnum is expedition-proven and has become the industry standard for backcountry touring performance. Its distinguishing feature is a binding plate with segmented rails that match the steering grooves on the NNN BC boot sole, the result being an interface that improves ski-steering power while preserving vital ski flex.
