March 30, 2010 (Moscow, RUS) – Speaking to the Russian sports federation chiefs during the Olympic flag-raising ceremony in Sochi for the 2014 Winter Games, Medvedev said: “You must work 24 hours a day, not just wear the seats of your pants and rove abroad,” reports the Associated Press. “We must get rid of this image, which our country seems to have picked up,” he said during the televised event on Friday. “We need to evaluate the situation and take all necessary measures, including the adoption of new laws.”
