February 15, 2011 – Approximately 1.5 million people participated in the Russian Ski Run 2011 cross country ski race held in 70 regions across the country on Sunday. The competition is open to everyone and has several distance options reports the RIA Novosti news site. The city of Yakhroma near Moscow had over 25,000 registrants on the cold, windy day.
