January 17, 2004 – The number of people selected was limited to athletes meeting the CCC performance standard and the budget available as outlined in the selection criteria.

Points calculation: Only athletes with North American FIS licenses were used as points references in calculating the ranking lists. Ivan Babikov's listing on the ranking lists is a point of interest and reference. Given that Babikov competed in the entire selection series and the NorAm Canada Cup series his ranking is worth sharing. Because Ivan has a Russian FIS license his points and finishing times were not used for ranking list points calculations.
