November 14, 2006 – Dear XC enthusiasts! This will be another short update as we are busy skiing. We have had a number of significant snow falls over the past 5 days and accumulated snow at the top of Silver Star Mountain will be approaching 100 cm. The big machines are now grooming the XC trails and trying to catch up to the snow. Check out main street on the web cam at www.skisilverstar.com

For those folks traveling here for the US Thanksgiving Weekend, here are some events you may want to take in:

Nov 24, 4 PM to 8 PM, Ski Expo in the NATC. All suppliers will have
their gear on display and you can kick tires, bend skis and try on
boots in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Nov 25, Demo Days at Sovereign Lake; the Turkey Trot Loppet at Silver Star Mountain and the National Ski Team Banquet and Fund Raiser at SSM 5 PM to end, tickets available at the Silver Star Club Resort. Call Clara at 250-549-5191 to reserve.
