“We’re very excited about this”, said Rodney Ruddock of Skigo Canada. “Skigo has been sponsoring Junior and Juvenile skiers across Canada for several years. These skiers have been progressing and are now reaching the national level. Similarly Skigo poles have continued advancements with stiffness, lightness and comfort. We want to continue out long-term support with skiers, like Andy Shields, as they join the National teams.”
National and Development team members will be able to examine the 2010/11 Skigo Racing pole starting this June for themselves. Progressive enhancements have made next season’s pole even lighter and stiffer resulting in superb power throughput and swing recovery. To complement the small racing basket a new larger basket for softer conditions will be available.
Skigo has been a ski wax supplier/sponsor for many years helping both National and Para-Nordic Teams achieve their best. Dave Dyer of Cross Country Canada commented, “Skigo has great waxes — very versatile — each covering off a broad range of temperature taking some of the difficult science out waxing.”
