October 31, 2008 (Toronto, ON) – With snow reports coming in daily we’re very excited to announce the addition of the USA’s Kikkan Randall and Canada’s Brittany Webster to our
Skier Diaries section. Last season Randall became the first of US female to win a cross-country ski World Cup and is the sole female member of the USST World Cup team. Webster, a runner turned cross-country skier had a phenomenal junior career but struggled with injury for the past year and is looking to rebound and carry her early success into a long senior career. Check out Kikkan’s 1st entry
here and Brittany’s
here.
The
section at skitrax.com features a variety of top US and Canadian Nordic skiers who share their thoughts, impressions and experiences both on and off snow with readers. Each skier has their own page including a brief bio, photo, along with their top performances – all skier diaries are archived by date so readers can stay tuned all season.
Check back regularly to keep track of your favourite skiers, or to learn about others as the section will be updated on an ongoing basis to provide readers with insights, and a behind-the-scenes look at the life of professional athletes as told by the skiers themselves. With each update you may find anything from a race report, to a recent vacation, to a training breakthrough, or their thoughts on any aspect of the sport.
