SkiTrax Sponsors Exel Racing Team

November 14, 2005 – The Independent Nordic Development Initiative for 2010, operator of the Exel Racing team is proud to announce an innovative new partnership with SkiTrax Magazine. SkiTrax joins the program as the team’s official magazine, looking to promote the publication throughout the North American racing circuit this winter. The innovative partnership aligns Canada’s foremost elite racing team with North America’s leading Nordic ski magazine.

Tara Whitten, one of the Exel Racing Team’s most potent podium threats for the coming winter was thrilled with the news saying, “This adds so much credibility to our program, and it’s great to be affiliated with such a fantastic publication. Every skier in Canada should be reading SkiTrax and if they’re not we’ll be putting a copy in their hands this winter”.

The Exel Racing Team will be distributing SkiTrax to potential readers throughout their travels this winter starting at their early season snow camp in late November at Silver Star, BC.

The Independent Nordic Development Initiative for 2010 (INDi2010) has the mission to put team members on the podium in every race all the way to the 2010 Olympics through ethical hard work, determination, focus and teamwork, and in doing so to promote cross-country skiing and a healthy lifestyle for all Canadians.

The Exel Racing Team will running a series of women’s ski and health days, called “Exel Divas on Skis”, at Hardwood Hills, Ontario on December 31st and in Canmore, Alberta on March 25th as part of it’s mission to promote cross-country skiing and healthy lifestyles to all Canadians.
