September 28, 2008 (Bessans, France) – Megan Tandy of British Columbia won the bronze medal yesterday in the Junior Women’s Pursuit competition as Anais Bescond of France won the event ahead of her teammate Marina Bolliet winning by 31.2 seconds. Both women had three misses each while Tandy missed four of the 20 targets to take third place 57.6 seconds behind Bescond. Tandy’s third place finish comes on the heels of a 4th place result a day earlier in the Sprint event.
