Torino Olympics 2006 – 20K Biathlon Individual

February 11, 2006 – Germany’s Michael Greis won the men’s 20K Biathlon Individual at the Torino Olympics today. Norwegian star Ole Einar Bjoerndalen took the silver while Norway’s Halvard Hanevold won bronze.

Top North American was USA’s Jay Hakkinen in 10th with the best ever US performance in biathlon. American Lowell Bailey followed in 27th while Canadian veteran Robin Clegg was 36th.
