April 17, 2014 (Lenzerheide, Switzerland) – The FIS Tour de Ski 2013/14 evaluation meeting in Lenzerheide (SUI) on 11th April 2014 saw 30 representatives of the Organising Committees, Infront Sports & Media Italy and FIS Marketing AG, as well as FIS conduct a debrief on the 8th edition of the Viessmann FIS Tour de Ski performance by Craft Sportswear.

The detailed review included results from surveys with different stakeholder groups and in depth discussions on topics such as marketing & promotion, accommodation and logistics, in order to make improvements so that the next edition of the Tour will be even better and more successful.
“The 8th edition of the FIS Tour de Ski was again one of the biggest highlights of the season despite difficult weather conditions. We can be happy about cooperating with highly motivated Organising Committees. On the operational side there was a great step forward especially in the area of waxing facilities which are very important for the teams who spend many, many hours there,” FIS Cross-Country Race Director Pierre Mignerey said.
The evaluation meeting also took a look at the future editions of the famous Tour. Next year, the FIS Tour de Ski is going to return to Oberstdorf (GER) and will take place from 3rd to 11th January 2015.
