August 09, 2011 (Vienna, Austria) – The case against Walter Mayer, 54, the former Austrian cross-country skiing and biathlon coach is underway in Vienna where Mayer entered a non-guilty plea to the crown’s charges that he disseminated banned substances to several top athletes between the years 2005 and 2009 reports AFP.

Christian Hoffmann, 2002 Olympic xc champ, who was suspected of blood-doping, and Alois Stadlober, a former xc world champion are alleged to have been among Mayer’s clients.
