February 27, 2011 (Hayward, WI) –  Burlington, Vermont’s Juergen Uhl cruised in for the 54km Classic victory with a minute to spare over Karl Nygren from Prior Lake, MN who claimed second followed by local favourite Eric Wolcott from Hayward, WI in third. CXC’s Jennie Bender from Minneapolis, MN dominated the women’s race with a 7-min margin over Kerrie A Fabius from Grand Marais in second followed by Hilary Patzer from St Paul, MN taking the final spot on the podium. Bender was 26th overall.
