I talked with Chris this morning at the CCSAA office. She’ll be there part-time all this week, commuting up to the hospital in Hanover, NH.
She’s a strong pragmatic person with a lot of experience with medical problems and has enormous support from family and friends (John’s too). Whatever happens, she says she won’t fall apart and CCSAA (which is very important to her) won’t suffer.
As to John’s situation, he opened his eyes yesterday in response to Chris’ teasing about dog agility training (as a lot of you know, that’s not his favorite activity in the world!). Next step is for him to wake up more than a few minutes every couple of hours. There will be a medical team meeting about him (this is customary in such serious cases) in the next few days, and we may know more then.
That’s today’s update. Again thanks for your support!
