April 19, 2004 – The USSA Congress 2004 will take place May 19-23, 2004 in Park City, Utah at the Yarrow Hotel and Conference Center.  USSA's focus is to achieve the ultimate goal of being the best in the world in 2006 at the Torino Olympic Winter Games. This year's Congress theme is “Best in the World, Where do you Stand?”

USSA cannot realize the goal of best in the world without the committed leadership in the field.  The USSA Competition Clubs are the dedicated core of USSA's athletic programs. The USSA Congress is the time when coaches, officials, volunteers and parents come together to take part in committee meetings and bring programs back to locals clubs.

At the request of the sport committee members, meetings will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to take advantage of Saturday night stay for airfare considerations. Here are some highlights for USSA Congress 2004:

* Sport committee and subcommittee meetings – you don't have to be a committee member to attend

* Chairman's Awards Dinner honoring volunteers, officials, coaches and clubs

* USSA Board of Directors meeting Sunday, May 23 – all are welcome to attend
