January 28, 2004 – Issued by the Edmonton Nordic Ski Club: The jury decision is that the Friday sprint races will be cancelled. Furthermore, the sprint races will not be rescheduled. The races scheduled for Saturday and Sunday will be run as planned, weather permitting. If Thursday's forecast for Saturday is -25C or less, a decision will be made on Thursday and broadcast on the CCA website. If the Thursday forecast looks favorable the decision regarding Saturdays races will be made at the coaches meeting on Friday night. The coaches meeting will be moved from Thursday 8:00PM to Friday 8:00PM at Goldstick Pavilion. The Edmonton Nordic Ski Club will refund $20 for the sprint races.
