November 10-12, 2004 The Whistler Forum for Dialogue presents the Summit on
Citizen Engagement at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Creative, informed and
sustained leadership is vital to advancing meaningful processes for
engaging citizens and building trust. The goal of the Forum’s first annual
North American Summit on Citizen Engagement is to foster this leadership,
to showcase examples and best practices today of the Olympic ideals of
democracy and citizenship of 3,000 years ago. The Summit is organized

surfacing the best thinking and practices of citizen engagement.

– Out of Bounds: Tales From The Backcountry, Call for Entries
November 24, 2004 is the final deadline in the call for entries for Out of
Bounds: Tales from the Backcountry photo exhibition presented by The
Whistler Arts Council and Coast Range Heliskiing. The exhibition will
feature approximately 26 photographers from the Sea-to-Sky Corridor and
Lower Mainland with images of skiing and snowboarding taken in the
backcountry of British Columbia, whether accessed by foot, snowmobile,
helicopter, watercraft or dogsled, and will be hosted at The Maurice Young
Millennium Place in Whistler throughout the month of February in 2005.

Whistler. He is a hilarious puppeteer, a dynamic musician and an

Whistler Children’s Chorus! His newest album, “One Thousand Pennies” was
