September 27, 2013 (Whistler, BC) – Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club partnered with other coast region clubs to host a popular Teck Regional Fall Camp from September 13-15 in Whistler, BC. The camp was attended by 55 athletes from the lower mainland, aged 8-18.The bulk of the camp was spent at Whistler Olympic Park, the most ideal venue for roller – skiing and interval training. On Sunday the athletes enjoyed a long hike, which was, for some, a full traverse of Rubble Creek to Helm Creek, past Black Tusk.

“The Sunday hike was definitely the camp highlight,” noted head coach Jake Weaver, “The athletes enjoyed the challenge of the 25 km run/hike… and of course the views were inspiring as well.”
