December 24, 2005 – Enjoy a day on the snow in one of the most beautiful places in New England. Experience cross-country ski clinics for every level of skier–from first-timers to seasoned masters! There will be wax demonstrations, a fantastic prize drawing and a fabulous lunch, included with your registration, catered by Trapp Family Lodge’s outstanding chef! Clothing and equipment retailers will be on hand with items to try and buy. And, an optional, fun relay will be held with awards given for mother/daughter, sister/sister, relative/relative, friend/friend and oldies/oldies (minimum combined age 100) teams. Demo and rental equipment will also be available.

The Stowe Winter Carnival will also be held during the same weekend and will feature ice carving demonstrations, a village parade, block party and fireworks…so come for the whole weekend and bring the entire family! Directions to Trapp Family Lodge: From Interstate 89 North (at Bow, NH), follow I-89N to Vermont Exit 10 (Waterbury/Stowe, VT exit). Turn right onto Route 100 at the bottom of the exit and continue north on Route 100 for 7-1/2 miles. Turn left onto Moscow Road. Go one mile and turn right onto Barrows Road. Stay on Barrows Road until you reach the stop sign (Ten Acres Lodge will be on your left). Turn left at the stop sign and follow signs to the Lodge (approximately one mile).
