December 14, 2005 – Canada’s top cross-country ski athletes, including World Cup medallists Beckie Scott and Sara Renner, are among the 117 athletes representing 20 nations that will compete in three World Cup races at the revamped Canmore Nordic Centre. The action-packed cross-country ski racing gets underway Thursday, December 15, 2005, and runs throughout the weekend.
A video news release featuring highlights of Canada’s athletes competing in the first World Cup races at the Canmore Nordic Centre since 1989 will be available following each competition.
The following are satellite details of the video news releases, which will be uplinked following the completion of each race on Thursday and Saturday at 5:30 p.m. EST, and at 4 p.m. EST on Sunday.
