September 27, 2016 – CCAK is in the early planning of Team Alaska coach selection. In addition to the usual positions for Junior Nationals coaches (this year in Lake Placid, NY), we intend to send a team (size TBD) of U14 & U16 skiers to Western Regional Championships in Sun Valley, Idaho. This event coincides with ASAA State Cross Country Skiing (February 23-25); so we realize the potential conflict as many coaches also lead high school teams.  CCAK is putting together the outline for skiers to attend the event; but will be dependent upon the interest of coaches.

– October 15 due date for Junior Nationals Trip Leader, Junior Nationals Head Coach, and Western Regional Championships Head Coach
– November 1 due date for Junior Nationals and Western Regional Championships staff
