November 08, 2017 (Quebec City, Qc.) – Haywood NorAm World Jr/U23 Trials will be held January 5-9, 2018 at the newly upgraded settings in Centre de ski fond Mont-Saint-Anne PQ. The event will also combine races of Coupe du Québec and Ontario Cup.

Hosted by Club Nordique Mont-Saint-Anne and Skibec Nordique Club and sanctioned by Cross Country Ski de Fond Canada (CCC), by the Fédération internationale de ski (FIS) and by Ski fond Québec (SFQ) / Cross-Country Ontario (XCSO) for the Coupe Québec and Ontario Cup events.

Location: Centre de ski fond Mont-Saint-Anne, Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, Québec

Eligibility and Licenses:
• All athletes entering NorAm WJr/U23 Trials races must have a valid racing license issued by FIS, CCC or the NSF (cross-country) of another country, or a Supporting Member Day License (SMDL) available through the race organization for 5 $ per race day.
• Athletes from Quebec must also have a valid license issued by SFQ.
• In addition to the previous applicable criteria, each full-time student athletes registering for the Ontario and Québec University series must meet the academic standards specified in the appropriate Provincial Cup circuit specifications.

Courses: Will be posted here.

Registration: Open: Saturday, December 3, 2017 Zone4 website http://www.zone4.ca/ ; $45 + GST and PST per race. Quebec and Ontario racer must add the provincial 5,00 $ race fees per race (2,50$ for midget from Ontario). Registration fees include free access to the trail system on official training days (Jan. 5th and Jan. 9th) and on competition days. A day pass is required outside this period.

Race Entry Deadline: December 26th 11:59 MST on Zone 4. Extra fee applicable after.

Wax rooms: Wax spaces will be available trail side. Parking spaces for trailers or trucks near electricity source will also be available. Teams must make arrangement to book their space by Email at

– Need: Waxing trailer/Parking space with or without power supply (if you have your own generator).

Cotengency plan:
Any change in the event location or timing will be posted as early as it is known on the event website here. If necessary, a decision on event cancellation or change of site will be made by CCC one week prior to the event, as recommended by the Jury. Any decision to refund will be in accordance with Section 2.6 of the NorAm Technical Package.
