March 05, 2018 (Lahti, Finland) – Canadian veteran Devon Kershaw led the North Americans in 25th finishing in the points in the men’s 15km CL at the Lahti Ski Games as Kazakhstan’s Alexey Poltoranin took the win.
Russia’s Alexander Bolshunov was nine seconds behind in second while Olympic 50km CL winner, Iivo Niskanen (Fin), claimed the final podium spot in third at 20.9 seconds back. It was Kershaw’s second-best result this season as he placed 19th in the 30km Skiathlon at Lillehammer, Norway, in December. The USA’s Erik Bjornsen was just out of the points in 32nd followed by Canada’s Graeme Killick in 39th with Noah Hoffman (USA) 40th. Patrick Caldwell (USA) was 45th, Scott Patterson (USA) finished 50th, Kevin Bolger (USA) was 54th, David Norris (USA) placed 60th, Canadian Julien Locke was 70th and his teammate Andy Shields was 71st.
