August 26, 2018 (Hakuba, Japan) – Canada’s Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes claimed an exciting 9th-place result followed by the USA’s Kevin Bickner in 10th in the HS 131 ski jumping event at the Summer Grand Prix in Hakuba, Japan this weekend.

Boyd-Clowes, coached by USA Nordic, jumped 128.0m on his first jump followed by a second jump of 121.0 m with points totaling 255.0 for an exciting top-10 finish. Bickner, 22, with the Norge Ski Club in Wauconda, IL jumped a distance of 119.0m on his first jump and delivered a 129.5m on his second jump for a points total of 251.2 to claim 10th.
