September 24, 2018 (Whistler, BC) – Whistler Nordics is looking for all level of cross-country ski coaches who would like to pass on their enthusiasm and skills to our local youth (ages 5 – 12). We welcome interest from previous XC racers, novice skiers and parents who would like to get more involved in coaching.

Previous coaching experience (CC or L2T) would be preferred, but is not required, as there are opportunities to become a qualified coach this fall.

There is an opportunity to do the basic ICC course online in your own time and we have a CC course running the end of Oct in Whistler.  As a coaching requirement, you’ll need to complete a coaching course to become a coach for Whistler Nordics.

Programs:
10 sessions on Saturdays at WOP (Dec – March)
10 sessions on Tuesdays at Lost Lake (Jan – March)

Perks:
Season pass to coaches who commit to a 10 session program at the area they coach.
