May 18, 2019 (Vernon, BC) – Sovereign Lake Nordic is proud to be hosting the 94th Canadian Ski Championships on Silver Star Mtn in Vernon, BC from March 26 to April 2, 2020. Plans are underway to host more than 700 athletes, coaches and parents from across the country.

Sovereign Lake Nordic is located approximately 25 minutes north-west of Vernon on Silver Star Mountain. The National Championships were last hosted in the area by the North Okanagan Ski Club back in 1995. Since the mid-nineties the Championships have been held in BC at Burns Lake (1996), Prince George (2005) and Whistler Olympic Park (2008, 2013).

The 2020 Championships will include the Junior & Senior Championships and double as the championships for Canadian Universities and Colleges.
