One and all… I am pleased to announce that John Schweitzer has been selected as the recipient of the 2003 Dagfinn Ragg Award. This annual award goes to that person whose past and continuing contributions have had a positive influence on cross-country ski sports and on cross-country skiers.

Through the wonder years of growing and nurturing the Merrell boot brand to his putting Garmont on the outdoor recreation map, Schweitzer has been at the forefront of providing well thought out and designed cross-country and backcountry ski products. His passion for backcountry skiing is only equalled by his passion for innovative ski products.
