FIS XC Ski Muonio Sprint Results – USA’s Sargent 4th

November 07, 2010 (Muonio, Finland) – The FIS XC ski racing season kicked off for US skiers in Muonio, Finland on Sunday in frigid -14 Celsius temperatures. The only American skier to make it through to the final was Ida Sargent (USA) who skied well qualifying second and placed fourth in the women’s final. Triin Ojaste (EST) dominated the qualification as well as the final. In the men’s race, the top three qualifiers remained in the same order in the final, with Kein Einaste (EST) taking top spot. The USA’s Patrick O’Brien was the top American in 30th.
