December 3, 2007 – PacificSport Sea to Sky is seeking to fill the position of Athlete & Coach Services Coordinator during the current coordinator’s maternity leave. The application deadline for the position is December 7 and the starting date is January 14, 2008.

As one of seven Sport Centres in British Columbia, PacificSport Sea to Sky delivers sport performance programs to help athletes and coaches win medals for Canada. Working in support of our national, provincial and regional sport partners PacificSport is creating a stronger system for the development of athletes and coaches.

The Athlete & Coach Services (ACS) position works closely with the Regional Coordinator to negotiate and facilitate comprehensive services aimed at the development of high performance athletes and coaches through sports associations, recreational facilities, educational institutes, businesses, and specific government organizations. The position is also responsible for assisting in the cultivation of relationships with local businesses, stakeholders and/or partners to improve Athlete and Coach Support programs and services.
