CANADA ONEXONE

Starting May 11th, 2008, Canadian ultramarathoner and Rock and Ice Race Advisor Ray Zahab and a team of runners will set off to run 80km a day for 13 days straight – that’s right – more than a marathon every day – for 13 straight days. That’s over 1,000km in just 13 days.

The purpose of this unique cross-Canada journey is to raise awareness for ONEXONE, a non-profit foundation committed to supporting, preserving and improving the lives of children at home in Canada and around the world. Through an annual campaign, ONEXONE is dedicated to helping create a world where children can live safely and with dignity.

Ray will be running in Yellowknife May 20. Perhaps we can time the annual Prelude Relay to coincide with this great cause.
