November 17, 2008 (Steady Brook, NL) – A part of Cross Country Canada’s Community Outreach ski program three-time Junior World Championship medalist Alex Harvey and the Quebec National Team Development Coach Louis Bouchard visited Steady Brook, Newfoundland. They were attending Cross Country Newfoundland and Labrador’s third and final dryland camp of the year.

The CCC website reports that “during the camp, athletes worked on elements of dryland training, taking part in roller skiing, technique video analysis and ski stride intervals. These activities, along with a roller ski time trial and sport specific nutrition were among some of the hot topics of the weekend. Despite the rain, drizzle & fog which surrounded the West Coast of Newfoundland Nov 8th & 9th, members of the Newfoundland & Labrador Ski Team’s spirits were booming!” For more on Alex Harvey’s visit to Steady Brook click here.
