November 25, 2008 – Trapp Family Lodge is taking advantage of the early cold temperatures and is ready to start the ski season off right thanks to its humble snowmaking technology, introduced just last year. The lodge has begun the snowmaking process and will be open for limited cross-country skiing on Thanksgiving – just in time for a holiday weekend getaway with your family!

It appears that Mother Nature may help out a bit next week as well, as snow flurries and some heavier precipitation is in the forecast. In just a few weeks, a short skiable loop will be ready to welcome skiers as well.
