Lodwick Three for Four at Conti Cup

release by USSA

December 19, 2008 (Whistler, BC) – Todd Lodwick (Steamboat Springs, CO) made it three for four in the win column as the FIS Nordic Combined Continental Cup wrapped up its North American swing. Lodwick, a four-time Olympian returning after a two year absence, came off his two wins in Utah last weekend to pick up a third straight at the Whistler Olympic Park on Wednesday. A day later, though, he was 1.4 seconds short of a perfect mark as Austrian Tobias Kammerlander took the win.

The Americans continued their strong showing with Brett Camerota (Park City, UT) finishing fifth both days. Bryan Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, CO) was fourth in Thursday’s event. Wesley Savill was Canada’s top finisher in 29th.

The Continental Cup resumes Jan. 3-4 in Eisenerz, Austria. Lodwick is expected to join the World Cup after Christmas, with events in Oberhof and Schonach, Germany. Complete results for the Whistler Olympic Park events can be found here.
